Dawson Rutter Dawson Rutter is president and CEO of Commonwealth Worldwide Chauffeured Transportation. He began his career 35 years ago, when as a young man he bought a single limousine with a clear business vision: to provide a level of personalized service that would keep customers coming back. With wholly owned fleets in New York and Boston, Commonwealth is still a family-owned business. He has been recognized as Best of Boston and Operator of the Year by the TLPA.

Jessica Boulerice Jessica Boulerice began her career in the corporate world, where she was quickly promoted to accounting manager at Liberty Mutual while simultaneously running her own consulting business. Her role at The LMC Group allows her to offer services such as financial strategy and analysis, monthly reporting, budgeting, audit/tax assistance, and operating as a fractional CFO for companies requiring strategic fiscal leadership.

Safeguarding Your Company From Sexual Harassment

Current events and the enduring power of the #MeToo movement have brought the difficult topic of sexual harassment to the forefront, and our HR and legal experts—Brooke Keil of Emerson Hospital and Ann Plunkett of Workplace Partners, respectively—will make sure you leave this session understanding why it’s such an important topic. With trade shows, home offices, driving teams, and meetings being among the developments blurring the lines between what does and doesn’t constitute the workplace, these are rough seas to navigate your business through. This session will also help you and your staff protect yourselves from making any accidentally offensive remarks or moves, brush up on behavior befitting professional environments, identify the difference between harassment and abuse, and prepare for day-to-day interactions that respect social boundaries both in the work space and outside the office. Even those who feel they’ve been spared major problems so far would benefit from this primer on how to deal with claims of abuse and harassment, how to keep avoiding them, and respectful procedures for dealing with victims.

Ann Plunkett Ann Plunkett has more than 30 years of legal and human resources experience as corporate counsel, employment counsel, and human resources executive in various corporate settings. Throughout her career, she has advised senior management on a wide variety of employment issues, including sexual harassment, workplace violence, and employee relations. In 1998, she founded the full-service human resources consulting firm Workplace Partners, which works within a company’s distinct business culture to address a variety of workplace issues.

Brooke Keil Brooke Keil is the Head of Human Resources for Emerson Hospital in Concord, Mass. She has enjoyed a long and successful career in Human Resources since completing her undergraduate preparation at Alfred University, and holds a PHR from the Society for Human Resources Management. While practicing all areas of Human Resources throughout her career, Brooke is an employee relations expert and an active HR trainer.

Millennials are quickly accounting for a significant portion of the workforce, and understanding them will become increasingly important over the next decade, both in terms of employment and marketing your company to the societal shift their lifestyles present. You’ll also learn about the impact their increased professional presence will have across the globe, how to harness their social media savviness, branding the hospitality industry accordingly, and the Millennial thought process itself. This session will leave you with a strategic outreach plan and a better understanding of how this generation is changing not only the workplace but also overall expectations.

Jeffrey Montague Jeffrey Montague is the Associate Vice Dean Emeritus of Temple University’s School of Sport, Tourism, and Hospitality Management and has more than 25 years of administrative experience in higher education. One of the philosophies he strives to maintain is to make customer service a priority, believing that the ability to provide personal service has a vital place in the academic setting, especially in an age of increased technology.

Jason Sharenow Jason Sharenow is COO of Broadway Elite Chauffeured Services Worldwide. He started his career in the industry as a part-time chauffeur in 1996. Two years later, he founded Broadway Limousine and grew it from a three-vehicle service to a 25-vehicle operation. Sharenow kept the momentum going and in 2007, he merged with Elite Limousine, thus forming Broadway Elite Chauffeured Services. Since then, he has helped the company grow into a fleet of 95 vehicles including 12 motorcoaches and a worldwide network of affiliates. Sharenow also serves as president of the Limousine Association of New Jersey.
